Macon Night Ride

Join us each Tuesday as we explore Macon by bike! We’ll ride to/through places like Amerson River Park, Riverside Cemetery, Tattnall Square Park, Downtown Macon, the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail and more… All riders and all styles of bicycles are welcome. This is a no drop ride, and riders are welcome to join us along the way. It is important to note that we do ride, but do not race. If you are interested at learning more about our past routes & speeds, check out our group on Strava - Bike Tech Cycling. Rides are at night and routes do travel down public roads. Helmets, BRIGHT front and rear lights are required! We’ll also encounter some gravel, dirt and who knows what else – just come find out. Routes will change from week-to-week based on what bikes show up. This ride will meet at and end up at Bike Tech – 3003 Vineville Ave, Macon, GA. Tunes N’ Brews Bike Bash

Join Bike Walk Macon's inaugural Tunes N’ Brews Bike Bash for a family-friendly, festive evening of bike riding, live music, burgers, and beer! This ride features an easy pace 4 mile ride departing from the Tubman Museum and travels through beautiful Historic Downtown Macon. There will be a half-way rest stop with light refreshments and a live acoustic performance on the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail. The ride will end at Ocmulgee Brewpub, where riders can enjoy gourmet burgers, hand-cut fries, homemade sauces and craft beer brewed in house. Don’t forget to tell your server you’re riding with Bike Walk Macon. Ten percent of your tab will go to Bike Walk Macon to help improve active transportation options in Macon-Bibb County!

April Fools Ride

It’s 11th annual April Fools Ride time!  Join the fun with new nonprofit host Bike Walk Baldwin on Saturday April 1, 2017.   Featuring beautiful middle GA countryside in early spring bloom,  there’s a variety of routes, climb and fun  for everyone!  This year, choose from scenic 32, 64, and 81 mile routes and enjoy breakfast, 3 fully provisioned rest stops and SAG support. For the after ride meal, each rider will receive a $5 Milly Money lunch voucher to use in downtown Milledgeville and choose from many great restaurants! Just come back to registration to claim or purchase your Milly Money and enjoy some good Milledgeville eats…are you ready to ride??? Early registration ride pricing includes light breakfast, SAG, $5 Milly Money lunch voucher and AFR T-shirt: $25 for Friends of Bike Walk Baldwin* & students, $35 for all others who preregister online through midnight 3/19/2017.
