Bike ‘n’ Beers + Macon Night Ride

Just Tap'd 488 First Street, Macon

Bike 'n' Beers is back! Join Bike Walk Macon at Just Tap’d (488 1st St.) on August 29th to help create a more bikeable, walkable Macon! The meeting will kick off with a group ride beginning and ending at the patio at Just Tap'd - Macon (488 1st St.) at 5:15 PM. The ride will feature an easy pace and distance. For those who cannot participate in the group ride, the meetup will begin at 6:00 PM in the basement at Just Tap’d. The meetup will provide a fun, collaborative forum for everyone to mingle, share updates, and plan upcoming programs. We'll also hear from special guest Alex Leahy from the Community Foundation of Central Georgia about Downtown Challenge. She’ll share info about what ideas make good Downtown Challenge applications. If you have an idea for how to make Macon more bikeable or walkable, be sure to join us! Everyone is welcome! Refreshments and one complimentary drink will be provided. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ We're joining the Bike Walk Macon ride in the place of our normal Tuesday Night Ride this week! A few of us will ride from Bike Tech at 4:30pm and head to Just Tap'd. Following the meeting, those that want to ride more, can. We'll make a stop back by Just Tap'd and then ultimately head back to Bike Tech for those that started there. All riders are welcome. This is a no drop ride, and you are welcome to join us along the way. It is important to note that we do ride, but do not race. If you are interested at learning more about our past routes & speeds, check out our group on Strava - Bike Tech Cycling. Rides are at night and routes do travel down public roads. Helmets, BRIGHT front and rear lights are required! Routes will change from week-to-week based on what bikes show up. *Ride at your own risk*
