Bike to Work Day with Mayor Reichert
Thursday, May 18 at 7:30 am | 340 Cherry Street
Enjoy a free breakfast hosted by Bike Walk Macon, then join Macon-Bibb County Mayor Robert Reichert for a bike ride downtown.
7:30 am – Complimentary pastries and coffee, commuter mingling at Cherry St Plaza (340 Cherry St)
8:00 am – Speech from Mayor Reichert
8:15 am – Ride with us through downtown to Macon City Hall.
The event is open to participants of all skill levels going to work, to school, to run errands, etc. The ride will be approximately 3 miles. You can just hop on your bike and join us for breakfast even if you’re commuting a different direction and can’t ride with the Mayor. The ride is weather permitting; no rain date is scheduled. All participants ride at their own risk.
