April Fools Bike Ride

Cogentes/CHS Campus 286 Jones Drive, Milledgeville

Registration is open for the BCM’s April Fools Ride!  Please join us Saturday April 2, 2016 as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our annual club fundraiser, a favorite southeastern spring tradition. Featuring a variety of routes, climb and fun, there is something for every rider!  The April Fools Ride offers 7, 32, 64, and 81 mile route options, 3 fully provisioned rest stops, and SAG support.  For this year’s after ride meal, each rider will receive a $5 Milly Money lunch voucher to use in downtown Milledgeville at one of many great restaurants.   Just come back to registration to claim or purchase your Milly Money and enjoy some good Milledgeville eats…are you ready to ride??? Early registration ride pricing:  includes light breakfast, SAG, $5 Milly Money lunch voucher, and AFR T-shirt:  $25 for BCM members & students, $35 for non members through midnight 3/20/2016. Women’s Workshop

Have you been wanting to bike again like you did as a child,but are not sure where to start? Or are you wanting to do a triathlon and need some basic tips? This workshop is geared for women who are ready to get on that saddle and go! So come spend the evening at Bike Tech with Elizabeth Jones and learn all the things women need to know to get started cycling! With tips on: -What type of bike is best for you -Graduating from biking in running shoes to biking in cleats -General biking safety -How to create a training schedule -What to wear -General nutrition

Women’s Beginner Road Ride

Mt. Zion Baptist Church 7015 Rivoli Road, Macon

Women's beginner bike rides start Saturday, March 19th @ 8:30am leaving from Mt. Zion Church off Rivoli. For anyone new to cycling, this is a great way to get started and get comfortable riding on the road. The rides will focus on cycling safety, etiquette and pre-ride basics.
