Bike N’ Beers Meetup

Bike N' Beers is back! Join Bike Macon on Monday, February 15 to mingle, share updates, and plan upcoming rides and events to build a healthier, safer, and more vibrant Macon. The meeting will kick off with a group ride beginning at the splash pad at Daisy Park (corner of Orange St Ln and Forsyth St, behind the basketball court) at 5:45 PM. The ride will feature an easy pace and distance. For those who cannot participate in the group ride, the planning meeting will begin at 6:30 PM at SparkMacon (557 Cherry Street). We'll hear from special guest Elliott Caldwell, the new Complete Streets Coordinator with Georgia Bikes!. He'll share info about Georgia complete streets policies and how we can work together to create a safer and better Macon for all people on bikes. Everyone is welcome! One complimentary drink will be provided.

Fix-a-Flat Workshop

Come learn everything you ever wanted to know about how to change a tire or tube on your bike. We'll have professional bike mechanics on-site and example rigs if you don't want to bring your own. There will also be coffee, give-aways, info on going tubeless and more! Folks from Bike Macon and the 4th Annual Journey Ride for Autism will be on site. Word is they are giving away a free registration to the race on May 7th!

Thomson Trail Work Day

Trail work to get ready for the April race. Plan about three hours of work. Flat shovel, rake, limb pruners would be good tools to bring. Gloves, work shoes, safety glasses and bug spray. Bring your own food & drink. Group ride after cleanup.

Women's beginner bike rides start Saturday, March 19th @ 8:30am leaving from Mt. Zion Church off Rivoli. For anyone new to cycling, this is a great way to get started and get comfortable riding on the road. The rides will focus on cycling safety, etiquette and pre-ride basics. April Fools Bike Ride

Registration is open for the BCM’s April Fools Ride!  Please join us Saturday April 2, 2016 as we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our annual club fundraiser, a favorite southeastern spring tradition. Featuring a variety of routes, climb and fun, there is something for every rider!  The April Fools Ride offers 7, 32, 64, and 81 mile route options, 3 fully provisioned rest stops, and SAG support.  For this year’s after ride meal, each rider will receive a $5 Milly Money lunch voucher to use in downtown Milledgeville at one of many great restaurants.   Just come back to registration to claim or purchase your Milly Money and enjoy some good Milledgeville eats…are you ready to ride??? Instructional Safety Ride

Join us for Macon's first Instructional Safety Ride hosted by Georgia Bikes! This class was developed by Nedra Deadwyler, Georgia Bikes! Safety Education Program Manager. During this two hour class, participants will actively learn safe riding practices on a local bike ride. In this class you will learn: - Bike basics - Rules of the road - Bike safety Requirements: For this class, participants are required to know how to ride a bike and must bring their own bicycle and helmet!
