Group Ride Leader
Macon, GA
Part Time

Bike Tech, Middle Georgia’s oldest retailer of bicycling products, is actively seeking an experienced cyclist with demonstrated leadership qualities for our Group Ride Leader position. This position is strictly part-time and will be responsible for leading group rides on a weekly basis. Do you love riding your bike and teaching others to safely ride on/off the road and navigate the intricacies of riding with a group? Would you like to be paid to get to ride your bike? Do you have a love of bicycles, the outdoors and fun. We want to help turn Macon and middle Georgia into a bike friendly community and our team does their part by offering sound advice, education and shares their love of riding with the biking community.

Applicants for our Group Ride Leader position should have the following qualifications:

Dedicated experience riding your Road Bike with a group
Leadership qualities
Ability to teach
Strong attention to detail
Patience
Customer service focused

Bicycle Mechanic

Full Time or Part Time

Bike Tech, Middle Georgia’s oldest retailer of bicycling products, is actively seeking an experienced, detailed oriented Bicycle Mechanic to join our family. We’re growing and are always looking for sharp hustlers with a love of bicycles, the outdoors and fun. We want to help turn Macon and middle Georgia into a bike friendly community and our team does their part by offering sound advice, education and shares their love of riding with the biking community.

Applicants for our Bicycle Mechanic position should have the following qualifications:

1 to 3 years of retail Bicycle Mechanic experience
Graduate of a certified Mechanic program is a plus
Strong attention to detail
Computer literate
Customer service focused

The ideal employee will understand the mechanics of bicycles, know how to service them and keep them in top condition and how to trick them out to give our customers an edge.
