DESCRIPTION:The Georgia Veterans Triathlon is held at the Georgia Memorial State Park in Cordele\, GA.  This race is one of the best-kept secrets for those who want to race on a fast and very flat course. Cordele is just a few hours south of Atlanta and only a few miles off I-75 (exit 101). Cabins and Lake Blackshear Resort is located right on the race course inside The Georgia Memorial State Park. DESCRIPTION:New to mountain biking? Just getting back on the bike? Just want a chill\, conversation-pace ride? Come out to LH Thomson for a social ride with a slow pace and a focus on having a good time and improving your technical skills. \nThe weather monkeys are talking a chance of rain this week but come on out no matter what. If it’s wet enough that riding will damage the trail we’ll go get a beer somewhere\, but Thomson is okay in all but the worst weather so plan on riding. \nHelmets are required and bringing something to drink on the bike is recommended since it’s hot. Also\, please consider insect repellent because Lyme Disease\, West Nile\, and Zika all really suck. \nThis will normally be a weekly ride through the summer\, either on Thursdays or before the meetings if they’re on some other day. We’ll rotate through the local trails\, so watch for events on the OMBA Facebook page.
