Once the time changes each year, local groups get together to ride all over middle Georgia! Below is a growing list of places to meet up with friends and ride – either road, mountain/trail, urban or just for fun. This list is a supplement to our calendar as these rides occur each and every week until the time changes again.

If joining one of these rides, please be safe, courteous, respectful of other riders and always wear a helmet! Also, remember to arrive early. The times posted below are when the groups start riding.

NEW Wednesday Group Ride (18 miles, 15-16mph pace) – 6:00pm (Starts @ Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 7015 Rivoli Road) Map
New group ride for 2018 designed specifically for cyclists who want to learn how to ride in a group. The intent of this ride is to teach experienced cyclists the skills necessary to ride comfortably side by side in a compact group. They will be taught basic group cycling techniques such as proper pacing, signaling and etiquette towards other cyclists and motorists. These rides are instructional in nature and are not intended to be fitness oriented, although some fitness may be gained.

The beginning route will be 18 miles and the average expected pace will be 15-16 mph. As we make progress, the route may be extended and the pace may quicken.

Cyclists interested in participating in this ride must have a road bike with a repair kit, must possess basic cycling skills and have a desire to learn about group riding. Helmets are required and triathlon and mountain bikes are prohibited. This is a road cycling group ride.

Riders who make progress in group riding skills and fitness will be encouraged to join the more aggressive Tuesday/Thursday rides.
